Liverpool have been linked with Borussia Monchengladbach player Mahmoud Dahoud as the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp looks to add to his attacking options.
Dahoud is the German manager’s No1 target and reports suggest that the Reds were willing to offer £25.8m for the player’s move to the Anfield. Further, Liverpool are facing competition from Juventus for the player’s signature.
However, Dahoud’s agent believes that his client will not be heading out of Gladbach this summer and if reports are to be believed then the Reds have been offered an advantage by the Bundesliga club.
According to the reports from the Bild, Dahoud has a release clause that was previously unknown and the player can head out of the German club in an amount lot lesser than what Liverpool are offering as of now. The Bild reports that the 20-year-old player can move out of Gladbach in €10m next summer as his contract including the release clause is dated to end in 2018.
