Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is set to leave the Anfield this summer after his first and last season at the Merseyside.
There have been many clubs interested in the Belgian player however, Liverpool’s price tag of £30m or more has caused hindrance for the deal to come through. Benteke has been linked with a fair share of clubs this summer which includes Turkish side Besiktas and Crystal Palace as the prime contenders for the player’s signature.
The player moved to the Anfield last summer in a deal worth £32.5m form Aston Villa, however, he failed to impress at the Merseyside club and has been told by Manager Jurgen Klopp that Belgian striker does not feature in the German’s plans for next season for the Reds.
Recent reports suggest that West Brom are the new contenders to join the race for Benteke’s signature after confirming the move of Saido Berahino to Stoke City.
