(Photo): Liverpool Defender Gives Injury Update Ahead Of Their Trip To Chelsea

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren recently uploaded his photographs which revealed his horror injury ahead of the team’s clash against the London giants Chelsea.

The former Southampton defender, Lovren, missed Liverpool’s first home game of the season after a training ground collision forced him to sit out and the manager then used Lucas Leiva alongside the new signing Joel Matip.

The Merseysiders humiliated the defending Champions Leicester City as they thrashed them with a thumping scoreline of four goals to one, where Roberto Firmino scored the brace while Mane and Lallana marked their names on the scoresheet.

Lovren posted the above photo with Emre Can and wrote the following caption:

“Mittagessen mit meinem bruder @ec2323

#ynwa” (Lunch with my brother)

Liverpool are in fifth place in the Premier League table following their second top-flight victory of the 2016/17 season.
