“You should be embarrassed by that” Liverpool fans roast former Man Utd star after tweet about Sturridge

Daniel Sturridge can’t get a break, well, off the field at least. The West Brom striker was looking to score a goal or two against his former employers Chelsea but had to be substituted after just three minutes and there is no guarantee when he will return.

The Liverpool striker was sent on loan to the Baggies with the hopes of him making a return to his goal scoring ways and somehow make it into the England side for the World Cup. But this was just another day in the life of Sturridge as he picked up another injury, which raises major questions about his ability to play at the highest level and stay fit.

A number of fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Sturridge’s injury.

There was another reaction from Michael Owen, the former Liverpool man who infamously joined Manchester United.

Most of us cannot forgive him for that and he did tweet about the injury but instead of posting ‘pain’ the former England striker said ‘paid’ and all the memories came rushing back for Liverpool fans as they had a right old pop at him.
