Mo Salah’s class act after scoring 4 against Watford will make the fans love him more

Mohamed Salah did it again, this time against Watford, as he led Liverpool to a victory that moved them up to third in the Premier League. With Manchester United and Tottenham in FA Cup action, it was important for us to bounce back from the 2-1 loss at the hands of United a week ago and we did it in style.

Roberto Firmino got just one goal but Salah was the man of the match, thanks to his four goals that helped us crush Watford 5-0 at Anfield. The Egyptian took his tally to 28 in the Premier League and he is now four clear of his nearest competitor for the Golden Boot, Harry Kane.

Salah is considered as one of the best players in the world at the moment but the former AS Roma man is also one of the nicest men in football as he actually apologised to the Watford keeper after scoring four times in the game.

A tweet shared by BT Sport showed Salah celebrating the win but also going up to the opposition keeper Orestis Karnezis and saying “I’m sorry.”

Jurgen Klopp too was thrilled by the performance as this bodes well not only for the rest of the season in the league but also our daunting Champions League clash against Manchester City.

The German was quoted by the Metro after the game as he lavished praise on our Egyptian King.

“He loves scoring. He’s a fantastic boy to be honest. It was very pleasing. It could have been really difficult tonight.

“We knew we had to be spot on from the first to the last second and our work rate had to be higher than 100%. The goals we scored were unbelievably good, and the boys didn’t stop. That’s how football should be, so I’m really happy with the performance.”

Salah Is Only Getting Better With Time

There were doubts about Salah’s ability when he moved from Roma to Liverpool but he has broken record after record and looks set to win the Golden Boot this season. That would come as a huge surprise to many given that he is actually a winger but is scoring goals and creating chances for his teammates too.

Salah was thankful to his teammates after the win against Watford and hopefully, he will continue to bang in the goals until the end of the season as we look to win the Champions League for the sixth time.
