Liverpool are really ramping it up to sign Alisson as James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo claims that the 25-year-old has cut short his holiday in Sardinia to complete his medical at Anfield.
This comes after the Reds had seen a £66.8million bid accepted for the keeper by Roma. The figure would be a world-record amount paid for a goalkeeper.
The report also claims that the official announcement for the keeper would be done within 24 to 48 hours and Alisson should be in line to replace Loris Karius as the Liverpool No.1. The keeper has also agreed to personal terms with the club, so it is looking good for us.
It is expected that the player will meet up with the rest of the Liverpool squad on 4th August after completing an extended break due to his World Cup outing.
While we have had our issues with Nabil Fekir and his medical, the Liverpool fans went completely ballistic about the news of the possible fourth signing of the season.
