Liverpool hand jersey numbers to new signings ahead of West Ham clash

Alisson and Fabinho have officially been given numbers for the season at Liverpool, as the club released an update on their website.

Fabinho is going to sport the No.3 jersey at Liverpool while Alisson would be wearing No.13.

Another player who got a squad number is Rhian Brewster. The release claims that the young English striker would be wearing No.24 on his back.

There was more for Alisson as it was also confirmed that the former AS Roma keeper would have “A. Becker” on his jersey and not a single name.

Fabinho and Alisson were two of our signings who were yet to be given a confirmed squad number with the season starting on Sunday.

Naby Keita was given number 8 while Xherdan Shaqiri

’s squad number is 23. What was even special about the No.8 being given to Keita was that Steven Gerrard, our former captain, handed the iconic jersey to the Guinea midfielder.

Liverpool’s season opener is against West Ham and a number of our new signings should be on display as we look to start the campaign with a win.

Our pre-season went off pretty well with just one defeat and wins over Napoli, Manchester City and United.
