Liverpool lost their winning streak in the Premier League and needed a Daniel Sturridge wonder-strike in the 89th minute to get a point at Stamford Bridge.
We dominated the game even after Eden Hazard’s brilliant goal in the first half. Although Mohamed Salah looked a little off-colour, the Egyptian had a great chance before half-time but Antonio Rudiger cleared it off the line.
Roberto Firmino also saw a header cleared from the goal line by David Luiz and it seemed like another fruitless day at the Bridge. Jurgen Klopp played his cards by bringing on Xherdan Shaqiri and the Swiss star missed the best chance of the game as he shot wide with Kepa Arrizabalaga rooted to the spot.
Alisson had a couple of quality saves too but it will be Sturridge’s goal that we will be talked about for a while. Liverpool could have had all three points but even one point is great given how late it came.
