Suso

Liverpool didn’t get to see the best of Suso but our loss has been AC Milan’s gain. The 24-year-old joined the Italian giants at the start of the 2014 season and has become one of their best players.

Suso seems to be enjoying his time under Gennaro Gattuso, the AC Milan manager, as the midfielder has started the season really well.

However, the 24-year-old was quick to suggest that his time at Liverpool was fruitful. Speaking to Marca (h/t Liverpool Echo) the Spaniard believed his stint at the Reds helped him become mature:

“You can learn things anywhere and [at Liverpool] there’s a great football culture.

“During my time there I improved and become more mature, despite the fact I didn’t play much.

“I know how to play football and every step in my career has taught me new things.”

Suso AC Milan

Suso made only 21 senior appearances for the Reds before he moved to AC Milan. The Spaniard has started the season well with two goals and six assists from seven league games. However, Milan are struggling and are 10th in the league.

The 24-year-old claimed that he would like to play for the Reds again (h/t Guardian). The Spaniard could be a hit under Jurgen Klopp but for now, he is doing a pretty good job in Italy.
