The Liverpool Echo reports that many Twitter users believed that Adrien Rabiot was in the stands as Liverpool defeated Tottenham.
The Frenchman appeared to be sitting in the front row and was wearing a PSG cap and has his trademark curly hair.
The Liverpool Echo adds that Rabiot has been linked with Tottenham and Liverpool, both in action on Sunday.
However, a Reds supporter, Connor Deane, calmed everyone down by suggesting he was the one present in the stadium.
Liverpool ended up winning the game 2-1 thanks to a late own goal from Toby Alderweireld, but Rabiot also had time to react to the rumours of him being there.
The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up in the summer.
However, the 23-year-old had time to see the lighter side of things as he responded to Deane being present at Anfield wearing the PSG cap.
PSG and Rabiot have fallen out in recent months after the Frenchman decided not to sign a new deal with the French giants.
The midfielder has not played for the first-team since December, with his last game coming against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League.
