Transfer News: Liverpool keeping a keen eye on Real Madrid star Marco Asensio
Mundo Deportivo (h/t Daily Mail) reports that Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Marco Asensio from Real Madrid in the summer.
The report claims that the German missed out on the Spaniard last season and Asensio could leave Spain.
The 23-year-old has found the back of the net just once in La Liga this season but the Madrid giants want to keep hold of their star (h/t Daily Mail
).The 23-year-old is capable of playing on either wing and the report claims that Klopp is ready to break the bank and sign the Spaniard.
The report adds that Asensio has a contract at Real till 2023 and an incredible £600million release clause too.
However, Liverpool are confident of signing the youngster from the La Liga giants as they look to change things up under Zinedine Zidane in the summer (h/t Daily Mail).
Asensio would be a great addition to the side and would provide a lot of competition to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
