Calciomercato (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that the Reds are interested in Francois Kamano.
The Bordeaux forward scored 10 goals and provided one assist from 37 Ligue 1 games last season.
The Guinea attacker can play in several positions across the front-line but most of his starts came on the left channel.
The 23-year-old was also a part of Guinea’s Africa Cup of Nations team and played alongside Naby Keita in some of the games.
The report claims that the Guinea attacker could be a versatile addition to the side and Liverpool are willing to spend €15million on the 23-year-old.
Liverpool could do with a forward who can provide cover for the front three. Kamano seems to fit that description as the Guinea international also played wide right last season in several games.
The Reds haven’t made major moves in the transfer window and have only signed Sepp van den Berg and Harvey Elliott.
The Reds have been a little underwhelming in their attack during pre-season. Napoli won the most recent game 3-0 but we did not have Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Robert Firmino.
Kamano could be a smart addition to the side, but the Reds also have Harry Wilson and Rhian Brewster on their books.
The pair have looked decent in some of the clashes during pre-season and should feature for the first-team in the upcoming campaign.
