Adrian has had a crazy introduction to his Liverpool career after joining the club in the summer.
The 32-year-old was a free agent after leaving West Ham and was training at a Spanish club before replacing Simon Mignolet.
The Spaniard didn’t have a lot of time to gel with the first-team and was called into action after Alisson injured his calf against Norwich.
Adrian helped us lift the UEFA Super Cup but made a huge error in the 2-1 win over Southampton. The former Hammer is still learning about his new teammates and recently spoke about our attacking pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
The wingers shared the Golden Boot last season with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Adrian claimed the pair has a great understanding on and off the pitch. Speaking to LiverpoolFC.com (h/t Liverpool Echo), he said:
“I’m really happy for them because they are doing really well, they have a great connection between them.
“They are good players individually, but they are good friends in the dressing room also and you can see that feeling on the pitch.”
The pair has been excellent since arriving at Liverpool and look to be in great shape even this early in the season.
Mane seems to be in better scoring form than Salah at the moment but the Egyptian is still an extremely tricky customer to deal with.
The Reds won the Champions League in the previous season but the main target has to be landing the Premier League title.
We face Arsenal on Saturday and our attack should be out in full force against the Gunners at Anfield.
