Liverpool’s backroom recruitment continues as improvement goes beyond just adding top players

Liverpool’s changes and additions to the backroom help their development

Jurgen Klopp has built an incredible side at Liverpool and we truly are one of the best in the world.

That was far from the case when the German took over, as the team featured some good players but had a lot of dead-weight.

The German took his time to make the changes and now we can beat any team in the world.

The days of seeing Christian Benteke struggle to score or Mamadou Sakho making errors at the back are over.

Even losing Philippe Coutinho didn’t affect the team negatively, and the management must be given credit for that.

Jordon Ibe has been replaced by Mohamed Salah, Sakho by Virgil van Dijk and we have stopped all the worries at the back by getting hold of Alisson, a world-class goalkeeper.

Klopp has constantly evolved the side by making additions to the team, and that work goes on behind the scenes too.

Liverpool keep adding to the backroom

Vitor Matos joined the Reds to take over Pep Lijnders’ former job after doing well at Porto.

The Reds have looked good without filling in the role that Lijnders had before becoming the assistant. However, this is an example to show how we are trying to ensure our stay at the top continues for long.

Liverpool signed throw-in coach Thomas Gronnemark, as Klopp tries to gain every little advantage.

The results are there for all to see, with Liverpool keeping hold of throws 68% of the time, which is the best in the Premier League (h/t Liverpool Echo).

Klopp also called upon a surfer, Sebastian Steudtner, to help the Reds deal with pressure coming into this campaign.

The Reds won the Champions League last season, and have started this season with a bang. We lead the league by five points and have been able to deal with a lot of pressure.

Klopp might be one of the best coaches in the world and keeps making tweaks that help the team.

Liverpool need to take any advantage possible if they are to stay ahead of Manchester City.
