Ben White has been impressive at Leeds United this season. The 22-year-old centre-back has played in 11 Championship games as Marcelo Bielsa’s side try to seal promotion.
The English centre-back is on loan from Brighton and Argus (h/t Express) claims that Liverpool are willing to pay £20m for his services.
However, Brighton do not want to sell their rising star and White signed a new deal with the Seagulls before joining Leeds on loan (h/t Express
).The 21-year-old is capable of playing at right-back too and could make a great addition to the Liverpool team.
The report claims that the Reds are still eyeing the sale of Dejan Lovren. The Croatian remained at Liverpool during the summer and got a start in our 2-1 win over Leicester City.
However, Liverpool value the 30-year-old at £26m and could reinvest that amount in trying to sign White (h/t Express

Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk are the first-choice centre-backs while Sepp van den Berg also has a bright future at Anfield.
