The Liverpool Echo reveals that the Reds are not interested in a move for Ryan Fraser during January.
The Scot enjoyed a fine season last time around with 14 Premier League assists to his name and is a free agent at the end of the campaign.
Fraser also scored seven goals for the Cherries and has been linked with Liverpool (h/t Liverpool Echo).
Reports (h/t Liverpool Echo) suggested that Fraser would be available on the cheap in January and Jurgen Klopp was set to move for the 25-year-old.
However, the Reds are not interested in the winger and Klopp is pleased with the options at hand (h/t Liverpool Echo).
Klopp doesn’t make too many moves in the winter window and the Liverpool Echo adds that there shouldn’t be any major activity at Anfield during January.
Denis Zakaria was also linked with the Reds recently, but the Liverpool Echo has poured cold water on that.
The midfielder has starred at Borussia Monchengladbach and has been linked with Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid (h/t Liverpool Echo
).However, the Reds aren’t keen on the Swiss international as they have several options for the midfield (h/t Liverpool Echo).
Liverpool have made a great start to the season and hold an eight-point lead over Chelsea and Leicester City in the Premier League. We defeated Manchester City 3-1 at Anfield to open up a nine-point lead over the Premier League champions too.
The Reds have normally avoided making January signings and it doesn’t make sense to splash the cash unless there are injuries.
