Twitter reacts to Jurgen Klopp streaming Shrewsbury tie online

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp stuck to his guns regarding the FA Cup replay against Shrewsbury Town.

With the players and manager enjoying a deserved winter break, the onus of representing the club has fallen to Under-23 boss Neil Critchley and his youngsters.

Although not present at the stadium, it looks as if Klopp will be keeping a keen eye on proceedings. Liverpool have arranged for him to watch the match on his laptop as he enjoys his break. (h/t Guardian

Jurgen Klopp will stream the match on his laptop

Critchley will delve more into the Reds’ Under-19 and Under-20 sides rather than the Under 23s as the youngsters will be presented an excellent opportunity to showcase their skills.

Curtis Jones is likely to earn the distinction of being Liverpool’s youngest captain. It will be a special moment for the local lad in front of a packed Anfield.

The winner of the tie will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the 5th round. (h/t Liverpoolfc)

The news that the boss will be streaming the tie was taken with a pinch of salt by a number of fans. A number of them came up with witty replies as they expressed themselves on Twitter.
