Liverpool have rewarded wonder kid Harvey Elliott with a three-year contract with the club following his excellent start to life on Merseyside, according to Daily Mail.
The youngster, who holds the record for being the youngest player to ever play in the English Premier League, joined the Reds in the summer from Fulham. He has played for the club in Cup competitions and has shown encouraging signs to both the management and the fans.
The club will wait until the summer to finalize the deal as it will then allow the terms to run until the summer of 2023. English Football rules restrict a team from tying down an Under0-18 player for a period exceeding three years. The Reds can offer the youngster a five-year deal once he turns 18 in April 2021.

His performances have led to the FA sending a delegation to watch him and teammate Curtis Jones in the FA Cup fourth-round replay against Shrewsbury Town. The youngster could line up for the England Under-21 side Euro 2021 qualifiers next month against Andorra and Turkey.
Elliott moved to Anfield last summer after his contract at Fulham expired. Fulham hopes a tribunal will grant them a fee in excess of £7 million for the talented youngster. The youngster is seen as an upcoming prospect and the news will go down well with Liverpool fans.
