Jordan Henderson praises Jude Bellingham amid Liverpool interest

Jordan Henderson sent Liverpool transfer target, Jude Bellingham, (h/t Mirror) an inspiring message after Borussia Dortmund clocked an impressive victory against Besiktas.

The teenager played an important part in their victory in the Champions League. He scored 1 goal and provided 1 assist against Beşiktaş. Another in-demand Dortmund star, Erling Haaland, also found himself on the scoresheet.

According to The Daily Star earlier this month, Liverpool have made the former Birmingham City FC midfielder their main transfer target. The talented central midfielder could cost the Reds up to £80million

His goal against the Turkish side saw him become the youngest player to score in back-to-back games in the Champions League. The home side were threatening in the early stages of the game, especially with the width of their full-backs.

The youngster broke the deadlock in the 20th minute and put his team in cruise control from that point. Besiktas did manage to score in added time to get one on the scoresheet.

Haaland even went on to describe the teenager as ‘Amazing’ after their victory against Besiktas. But it was Henderson’s message that caught Liverpool’s fans eyes. The Liverpool captain commented “Love to see it” on a photo posted by Bellingham on his Instagram account, as seen below.

Apart from Henderson, Marcus Rashford, Reece James and Jamal Musiala also praised the youngster for his performance in their latest Champions League fixture. He also garnered a lot of praise from fans all over the footballing world for his maturity at such a young age.

The youngster could well go on to replace Gini Wijnaldum, who departed the club to play with Paris Saint-Germain. While there is nothing certain as of yet, the teenager can be a player to hold down a spot in Liverpool’s midfield for years to come; if they manage to sign him.
