According to transfer news from Fichajes (Liverpool Echo), Liverpool have reached an agreement to bring Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma to Anfield.
Liverpool were pretty inactive in the last transfer window as Ibrahima Konate was the only substantial signing to enter the club. The Reds will thus be looking to make some significant additions to their squad in the coming transfer window.
Midfield is one place that could use some help as Naby Keita
and Thiago Alcantara have already picked up injuries. Gini Wijnaldum, who was an important part of the midfield setup until last season, also departed the club. Youngster Harvey Elliot had to face a horrendous tackle against Leeds that has put him on the sidelines for a long time.Signing a talented midfielder could provide some respite for the Merseyside team as they enter a hectic schedule with domestic and European matches coming thick and fast. If reports are to be believed then Liverpool could be in a great position to bring Yves Bissouma to Anfield.
The 25-year-old midfielder would cost the reds close to £30million. It could be a great long-term investment from the club as the midfielder already has a proven track record in the Premier League.
The Malian midfielder has become an integral part of Graham Potter’s side in the last couple of seasons. He has helped build a resolute link between the defence and forward line. The Reds could use someone of his calibre in the centre of the pitch.
The Brighton midfielder has made 91 Premier League appearances in which he has scored 2
goals and assisted 1 more for the Seagulls. The midfielder would be a great addition at Anfield but would have to fight for his place in the starting lineup with more experienced midfielders around him.Fabio Carvalho admits he should have had more talks with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool The…
