“One by one”- Liverpool defender gives his verdict on hectic upcoming schedule

Andy Robertson says Liverpool don’t have time as the games keep coming thick and fast

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, left-back Andy Robertson has conceded that the Liverpool players have almost no time to think with the games coming thick and fast as they approach the end of the season.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side got the better of Graham Potter’s Brighton thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz. This brought them within four points of league leaders Manchester City as they continue in their quest to usurp the Cityzens and take the league title.

Having already secured the Carabao Cup by beating Chelsea in the finals, the Reds also are into the quarterfinals of the Champions League and the FA Cup. Still going strong in three competitions, Liverpool are subject to a very hectic schedule with continuous matches.

Speaking about the hectic schedule following the match against Brighton, Scotland international Andy Robertson conceded that there is absolutely no time to breathe for the players

“We’ve not really got much time to think about it. There are games coming thick and fast. We just need to keep ticking them off one by one”

He, however, claimed that the players are very excited to continue competing in the season, and are looking to get pipo Man City to the Premier League title.

What next for the Reds?

The Merseysiders have a match against Arsenal midweek as they continue in their pursuit for the Premier League title. We have enjoyed a good record against the Gunners in recent years but Mikel Arteta’s team are in great touch right now and this will be a tough game to get three points from.

The Reds were supposed to face United at the weekend but their progress to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup meant that the game against the Red Devils had to be postponed due to fixture congestion.

Liverpool also have a huge, potentially title-deciding game against Pep Guardiola’s men on April 10 that could make or break their PL season. In addition to this, they will also have a quarter-final clash to play in the Champions League.
