Liverpool are planning to pursue £34m Premier Liga star who they failed to land in the summer

As reported by Mirror, Liverpool have reignited their interest in £34m Premier Liga star, Georgiy Sudakov. The 21-year-old has put together a string of impressive performances that have led Jurgen Klopp’s side to go after him again.

The Ukrainian midfielder has recorded three goals and one assist in 18 appearances this season. What catches people’s eyes when watching Sudakov is his excellent command of the ball. He also has an eye for the right pass and can connect on his ambitious passes more often than not.

It has also been reported that the player has garnered interest from several clubs. Juventus, Napoli, Barcelona, and Manchester City will surely be a thorn in the side of Liverpool as they go after Sudakov.

Is a January deal feasible for Liverpool?

Unfortunately for the fans, a January deal for Sudakov doesn’t look like it is in the books for the team. What the team needs right now is a new centre-back so they will likely steer clear of splurging cash on an expensive midfielder.

The team is currently looking into getting a deal done for Goncalo Ignacio, according to Portuguese publication O Jogo, Liverpool are keen on getting a deal done for the 22-year-old star. He has made 27 appearances for Sporting CP so far and has been impressive so far.

Liverpool are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table. The Reds will be taking on Bournemouth this Sunday and winning is a must for Jurgen Klopp’s side. Three extra points against Bournemouth will help the team steer five points clear of Manchester City who are currently second on the table.
