Darwin Nunez took to Instagram to send a message to Liverpool fans. He celebrates the victory over Brighton and the Reds now climb to the top of the Premier League table.

Liverpool defeated Brighton 2-1 on Sunday, with goals from Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz. Liverpool faced the Seagulls in their first match back from the international break, ahead of what is likely to be a competitive title chase.

Next for Liverpool

Liverpool are currently enjoying a fantastic season. They have won their first title of the season, the Carabao Cup, defeating Chelsea 1-0. The Reds bowed out of the FA Cup after losing 4-3 in extra time against Manchester United.

However, after performing exceptionally in the Europa League, the Reds have now reached the quarterfinals to play against Atalanta. Before that, though, they have two league games coming up.
