As per Calciamercato, Liverpool has began the discussion to sign Anderlecht youngster Samuel Bastien. The 19-year old has been decently impressive this season by scoring 2 goals in 24 games and the Reds see him to have a good future at Anfield. The player is currently on loan at Avellino of Serie B and Liverpool wishes to sign him in the summer when he returns to the club.
Liverpool are expected to have allotted £100 million for transfer this summer and already several big names have been linked with Anfield. Unfortunately, the Reds look unlikely to qualify for Champions League next season just as other English heavy weights Manchester United and Chelsea.
This could seriously dampen the transfer season for Liverpool and the possibility of signing big names may be thin. However, Liverpool has a project of overhauling the club with the target of becoming a title contender next season. Joel Matip and Marko Grujic will be joining the Reds in the summer as the rebuilding process starts.
