The transfer talks and rumors have started and big teams are linked with bigger players all over. Liverpool are also in this race as a lot of players have been linked with a possible summer move with the Reds. Jurgen Klopp will have his eyes on making some changes to his existing line-up. If we talk about the midfield in particular, Emre Can has been the star this season at the deeper position. Jordan Henderson has had his moments, but he has not been consistent. James Milner has been there to play his part as a utility player but he is not a specialist midfielder. Klopp might just consider adding a midfield powerhouse who can have that impact and drive the midfield for the manager. Here are some of the midfield generals available in the transfer market who Liverpool can try signing.

Lars Bender

Bender is a talented midfielder with abilities that can dictate possession and create chances. This season he has had some tough times at Bayer Leverkusen as he made just 10 appearances. Bender might be the perfect replacement for Lucas in midfield as he has the ability to play at the central as well as the defensive role. Klopp has also seen his game during his time in Dortmund and he could be an interesting prospect for Liverpool for the next season.

Mahmoud Dahoud

The Syrian wonder kid plays for Gladbach and he has been a man in good form this season. The 20 year old midfielder has managed to impress everyone at his club and has a promising future ahead. Jurgen Klopp might be interested in this talent as he looks to add new dimensions in the midfield. Dahoud certainly has the spark and the abilities of a dynamic midfielder and he might be the player who can add strength to Liverpool’s midfield.

Piotr Zielinski

Zielinski is another midfield powerhouse who has his presence across the park. The 22 year old Polish midfielder is currently on a loan to Empoli from Udinese. His performances have been remarkable for the Italian side and his ability to hold the ball and distribute it has been commendable. Zielinski has a blistering pace and is also a cool finisher, which make him a high valued target in the market. Klopp would definitely consider the prospect of signing him and giving the much needed depth to his current squad. All said and done, we can definitely expect one out of these three players to arrive at Anfield this summer.
