The 2016-17 Premier League fixture list is out now and we are pretty sure that the Premier League fans from all around the globe are eagerly waiting for the league to start. The English league will be welcoming some top manager from Europe and that will surely make the league tougher.

Coming on to the point, much more things are expected from the Merseyside club Liverpool next season. Their German manager Jürgen Klopp has fueled the optimism into the veins of the players, and it seems like the squad will be entering on the field to throttle the opponents with all ends up.

The manager is already planning to transform the current squad, and has already made 3 signings namely; Joel Matip from Schalke to tighten up the defensive line, Loris Karius to rigidify the personnel between the sticks and the young Marko Grujic to give the side a dynamic approach.

In just 5 months of his charge, he took the side to 2 cup finals and that is actually a great thing. The performances against Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal were worth watching and surely there is more to come from the young English club. 1. 13- August: Arsenal vs Liverpool-

The opening day fixture usually tunes up the tempo for the rest of the campaign. Both the sides will be looking to get a win out of it and that’s why, it will surely be a clash of Titans. Arsenal have a number of the experienced players on the side, while Liverpool have the young and dynamic squad, who looks hungry everytime they go for the goal.

This will surely be a tactical battle rather than a physical one as both the managers are known for their cool and composed behavior. An opening day victory is all Liverpool need to set an optimistic approach to the rest of the campaign.

2. 27 August: Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool-

The third fixture for the Reds will be against the title challengers of the last season, Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool have a wonderful record against the Lilly-whites as they have won five of the last seven games against them. Spurs are currently hitting a top form, and under Pochettino, they are doing wonders, and therefore, the Reds will need to be on their toes as the players like Alli, Kane and Eriksen might prove to be a destructive weapon against Liverpool.

Both the sides will be looking to cancel each other out, and we are pretty sure Liverpool’s attackers will do a wonderful job to increase their streak against Spurs.

3. 17 September: Chelsea vs Liverpool-

The aforementioned fixture is surely going to be one of the most tactical battles in the Premier League. Antonio Conte will be taking the charge at Stamford Bridge, and soon after; he will be facing Klopp. Both the sides have pacy wingers at their side, who can haunt the defence easily.

Chelsea will be looking to start the season with some bright results, while Liverpool will be looking to cut the comedy for the Blues. The full-back area is the major issue for both the team right now, as both of them lack a tough and determined defender.

4. 15 October: Liverpool vs Manchester United-

This fixture is surely going to be a classy one. Manchester United were beating Liverpool with ease until the arrival of Klopp in the last season, but this time, the tables might turn. The Merseyside club gave a fantastic performance in the Europa League tie against the Devils and knocked them out of the competition last term.

Manchester United, on the other hand, will be playing under the Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho and we all know what kind of history did Mourinho and Klopp shares (remember the demolition of Real Madrid from Dortmund). Mourinho do not have a great record against Klopp, and the players like Coutinho and Firmino can easily exploit Manchester United’s defence with their pace.

5. 17 December: Everton vs Liverpool-

The Merseyside derby! One of the most awaited fixtures of the campaign will be played just before Christmas and the Evertonians, who recently welcomed Ronald Koeman will be looking to get a positive result in front of their home supporters.

On the other hand, Liverpool are having a fine run form against Everton as they have won five of the last seven against the Toffees and will be looking to build on it. The derby clashes are always hard to predict and with Ronald Koeman at their side, it will be a nail-biting encounter.
