“Very strange”, “I’d happily take”: Liverpool fans react to surprise rumours linking club with Chelsea superstar

As per a report by Gianluca Di Marzio (h/t Daily Express), Liverpool are harbouring an interest in prolific Chelsea shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois.

The winner of the Golden Glove for the 2016/17 Premier League season, Courtois has been one of the most dependable goalkeepers in the English top-flight. He is immensely skilled and at 26 years of age, the Belgian also boasts of ample experience.

It remains to be seen if Chelsea are willing to sell him to a direct rival but if that is the case, it would not hurt us to make a move.

We are quite short of quality content in the goalkeeping department since both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet have failed to live up to expectations. In such a situation, a move for Courtois seems like a good idea even though the authenticity of the news is doubtful.
