Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren looks like he’s going to make it tough for the opposition at the World Cup, as the Croatia international posted a short video on Instagram.
The tall central defender challenges his brother to a little 1-v-1 and tries to find out who is better. Lovren then decides to kick his brother in the gut before taking the ball away and kicking him again when the other Lovren is down.
Lovren even captioned the video as:
“I love you brother, but when football is in question I don’t care”.
And here is the video in all its glory with sibling rivalry certainly coming out big time.
Lovren’s Croatia will not have it all that easy in the World Cup as they would be in a group featuring Iceland, Nigeria and one of the favourites for the title, Argentina.
There is no doubt that the Liverpool man will have to be at his best if his country is to achieve something remarkable in the tournament.
Lovren might be channelling his inner ‘Sergio Ramos’ ahead of the tournament and hopefully, he won’t have to do too much as he might risk the wrath of Lionel Messi and more.
