Liverpool are interested in 17-year-old RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi, according to Kleinezeitung (h/t Liverpool Echo).
The young striker has played for Germany at youth level but could even feature for Nigeria.
Adeyemi currently plays for Salzburg’s feeder team FC Liefering and has seven goals and five assists in all competitions.
The report claims that the youngster joined Salzburg from SpVgg Unterhaching, but hasn’t featured in the side for the Austrian giants.
Barcelona and Arsenal are also interested in the 17-year-old forward, and the Catalans also saw a €15m bid rejected by Salzburg recently (h/t Liverpool Echo).
It will be interesting to see if we make a move for Adeyemi in the future given our transfer business during the summer.

.We have talented youngsters, with Curtis Jones, Ki-Jana Hoever and Caoimhin Kelleher all playing in the Carabao Cup too.
Adeyemi has time to develop his game and a move to the right club will ensure that takes place.
Jurgen Klopp has promoted youngsters into the first-team regularly. We have seen Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez play consistently for us.
