The German author’s gesture was well received by the staff who were happy to see their efforts recognized. Klopp and his wife stay in the area and maintain a low profile. However, they are involved in maintaining strong links in the local community.

Ulla’s gesture was not an attempt at gaining attention to herself but rather her way of saying thank you to the store workers. They are part of the nation’s response to the pandemic and have formed a significant part of our frontline response alongside the NHS.

Liverpool also showcased their support for the NHS by emblazoning ‘NHS’ followed by ‘YNWA’ on the Anfield turf. The gesture was made to show appreciation and gratitude for the heroism of health professionals and other key workers during these challenging times.

The club also launched an initiative known as LFC Connect. Its aim is to encourage elderly people around the community to keep in touch and share any issues or worries they have.
