Report: Manchester United pose problem to Liverpool in the race to sign teenage Bundesliga star

Manchester United join Liverpool in Jude Bellingham transfer race

According to the Independent, Manchester United have entered the race to sign talented Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham with Liverpool and Real Madrid already interested in the player.

How impressive Bellingham has been in the past few months cannot be put into words. He has arguably been the best midfielder in the Bundesliga for quite some time now and has been the subject of interest from many Premier League clubs.

Bellingham’s stocks have only been on the rise for such a long time now. His performances in Europe have caught the eye of everyone and he is already one of the youngest captains going around at just 19.

The teenage sensation joined Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham City in 2020 in a move that generated a lot of controversies back then. Two seasons later though, everyone has been mesmerized by Bellingham’s performances.

There is no doubt that Bellingham shows maturity that not many players of his age are blessed with. He is exceptional on the ball and equally hard-working off the ball and his influence on Dortmund knows no bounds.

This season, Bellingham has started off as exceptionally as ever, playing 13 games across all competitions scoring four goals and providing two assists. The 19-year-old wonderkid only keeps getting better game after game.

It seems almost impossible to imagine Bellingham staying at the Signal Iduna park beyond this season. Many clubs will be vying for his signature and Liverpool will have a tough job on their hands.

Considering that our midfield needs a complete revamp, Bellingham seems like the perfect option for Klopp to build his midfield around. Let’s hope we are able to beat other competitors and sign him next summer.
