The family of Jude Bellingham is in split over which club to join amid Liverpool links

According to Football Insider (h/t Liverpool Echo), there has been a split in the family of Liverpool target Jude Bellingham over which club to join in the future.

The England international, who is currently playing for Borussia Dortmund, has been linked with a host of top clubs, including Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and more.

The former Birmingham City midfielder was one of the stars for England in the World Cup, and has been one of the best upcoming players in the last year or so. He has got everything in his game to be a top midfielder for several years, provided the fitness of his body remains in good stead.

The report says that Bellingham’s father, Mark, wants the youngster to join Liverpool and come back to England, while the player has had his head turned by the prospect of joining Real Madrid and Manchester City.

The transfer saga, which may last till the upcoming summer transfer window, has got another twist with this story unfolding. The soap opera could go on for the next few months, chiefly because of the profile of the player we are talking about.

Whether the split in the Bellingham family leads to a definite conclusion regarding his next footballing destination, remains to be seen. For a young player though, the pressure of dealing with a transfer to any of the top clubs would be huge. He has shown, thus far, that he can deal with anything. Long may it continue for the prosperity of his career!

We all are aware that Liverpool could do with a dynamic and young midfielder like him in their squad. He has shown at a very young age that he can become one of the very best players in world football.

But, given how much we lack in that department, only signing Bellingham would not be the final piece of the jigsaw. So, is it feasible to go after one player and then have no funds to sanction other deals? The owners may have a better answer to this question.
