Alexander-Arnold sees growth despite setbacks
Liverpool FC defender Trent-Alexander Arnold believes that the Reds enjoyed a good season despite a sad conclusion to the recently concluded campaign.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds were on a high when they kissed the Carabao Cup trophy in February, but the Kop were still in contention for a possible quadruple at that point. However, things started falling apart at Anfield Stadium after their defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup, which followed a disappointing end to the Europa League campaign, and eventually Liverpool gave away the title race in April.
“Good Season” with frustrating finish

A disappointing season run-in means that Jurgen Klopp bids adieu to the club with a feeling of frustration rather than a party of joy. However, a third-place finish to the season means that the England midfielder insists that progress has been made at Anfield.
Speaking to the official club’s website, Trent said:
“It was a good season; we built on last season, got better as a team, challenged for the title, took it far and we improved. Any time you improve means that it’s a good season. Take the positives and move forward and hopefully (do it) again next season.”
As one era ends, next season marks a new dawn at Liverpool as Arne Slot will take charge of the club in what the Kop’s would hope will be a successful tenure at Anfield Stadium.
