Liverpool centre forward Darwin Nunez has been struggling to replicate the game time he enjoyed under Jurgen Klopp since Arne Slot took charge at L4, and with the Uruguayan’s services surplus at Anfield Stadium, the Merseysiders are open to a possible sale of the 25-year-old.
Nunez has been under the spotlight for his lack of output lately, with a record of just four goals in 24 appearances in all competitions, bringing in ample criticism his way. And looking at the record (complemented by Slot’s preference), Liverpool are open to selling Darwin Nunez if they can get a sum of £50-60 million, per Football Insider.
The report goes on to state that any potential exit can happen in the ongoing winter transfer window or the upcoming summer interval, depending on whether the Reds can find a suitable replacement for the former Benfica striker.
Nunez down the pecking order at L4

Nunez is one of the players who will get into good spaces but go on to miss clear opportunities for his lack of clinical output in front of goal, and Slot has not tolerated that, preferring Diogo Jota and Gakpo over the 25-year-old who moved to England in a highly anticipated deal going up to £85 million.
For Liverpool, selling him in a cut-price deal will see them not only cutting losses for a surplus in that roster but also making space for another signing at Kirkby. The Reds are yet to invest big under Arne Slot, and clearing off the surplus while getting a decent fee would help them make one, perhaps two, marquee signings at L4.
For Darwin Nunez, he has immense potential; however, his waste of chances is something that he needs to work on, and if any rumors link to a potential exit, the buying team will be getting a team player who is always ready to give his two hundred percent.
