Luis Suarez could possibly be the best foreign import we have had in the Premier League era. The Uruguayan was a treat to watch and scored 82 goals in just 133 games for us.

Controversial he certainly was but he has proved his mettle ever since he joined Barcelona and won trophies galore. The 30-year-old became a fan favourite right after the first season but he couldn’t actually believe he was playing for us.

“When I was little, Liverpool was one of the biggest clubs in Europe and was renowned throughout the world.

“So when I found out about the club’s interest in me I was never in doubt because it’s the dream for any player.
