Divock Origi will be offered a new contract at Liverpool in the summer, according to the Mirror.

Origi’s form in has proved and the German believes that the striker is back to his best, which was the case in 2016 before an injury curtailed his campaign, according to the Mirror.

The report adds that Origi rejected a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in January and that move seems to have worked a treat.

The former Lille striker has a year left on his current deal and the new contract will be highly incentivised, according to the report.

Origi certainly has come up big for us this season, and a contract extension would not be a bad move for either club.

The Belgian still needs to improve his game but he seems to be getting better with each game this season.
