Linda Pizzutti, the wife of Liverpool owner Joh Henry took to Instagram to fire shots at Manchester City

As Liverpool celebrated Jurgen Klopp during his last day at Anfield, Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City team were celebrating their fourth consecutive Premier League title. It was a historic season for the Blues and celebrations are in order.

The Reds and Man City became rivals while Klopp and Guardiola were at the helm of their respective teams. So, the Anfield crowd will surely count it as a win that the Blues trophy celebration was somewhat drowned out by the German manager’s farewell.

While people were busy basking in Klopp’s glory, Liverpool owner, Linda Pizzuti found the time to congratulate Manchester City and took to Instagram to do so. However, what may look like a normal celebration is actually her firing shots at the Blues.

To finish her message, Pizzuti wrote thanks for thinking of us on your special day. This is in reference to Man City’s tweet, which wrote “This means four” to celebrate their PL win. However, this is also a dig at Liverpool since the team has a widely used slogan “This means more”.

This slogan is a result of Klopp who has always said that winning at Liverpool means more than winning anywhere else. Man City saw the opportunity and took it, little did they know, Pizzuti would use it to fire shots at them instead.

With the German manager’s departure, the rivalry may die down. After all, the selling point of the fixture was pitting Pep Guardiola against Jurgen Klopp, now that the latter is gone, the games against Man City might not be as exciting anymore.
